You know you have a little boy if...

1. You frequently speak in code.
For instance, "Please be quiet" would be "Act like a ninja".

2. You understand the intrinsic value of dead bugs, sticks and smooth rocks.

3. You can name at least 4 superheroes
and
their powers.

4. You save weeds in your best vase and display
them on your dining room table.

5. Your vacuum cleaner attachment has ever been used as a light saber

And finally,
6. You realize the most fun comes in your pint-size bundle of chaos
!

A boy is Truth with dirt on its face
Beauty with a cut on its finger,
Wisdom with bubblegum in its hair, and the
Hope of the future with a frog in its pocket.

Day at the Park

School Days

Matthew started Preschool today (sniff, sniff). He was much more ready than mom. After all, he is "four-and-a-half". Helen and I are still on maternity leave and won't go back until November. I'm enjoying the time with my baby girl, but it sure is quiet around here!

Gotta love grandparents!

Whenever Gram and Gramps come to visit, you can bet Matthew will be waiting at the door. From the amount of love and attention he and Helen got this weekend, it won't be long before little sister is right there with him. We're very blessed to have parents who love our children so much!

We celebrated Gramp's birthday while he was here. I think Matthew approved of the cake. Happy Birthday to Aunt KK, too!

Oooh, is that an outlet store?

Creepy face at Fuddruckers

Trying out a "Eurobubble"

On the merry-go-round

Nap time

2 months old!

Helen is officially 2 months old! She smiles all the time and can turn in her crib (almost a complete circle). She has a favorite toy and responds to our voices. We love it!!
