One more picture...

I love this picture!

Happy 11th Anniversary!

Our anniversary fell on a very busy weekend (see next post), so I knew there would be little time to celebrate. But, as he often does, Alan saved the day. He sent me out shopping for a new dress - Alone! Heroic, I know. He also bought Andes mints, the kind from our wedding, to share at the reception. Who know candy could be so romantic? But mostly, he was just the calming reassurance during a very hectic day. Every year, I love him more and am so grateful God sent him to me. Alan, it is good to be your wife. Happy Anniversary!

Wedding Bells!

Last weekend, Matthew was the Ring Bearer for our friends, Stephanie and Buck. Stephanie and her sister, Danielle, were married a year apart and Matthew was Ring Bearer for both. Their weddings were among the sweetest I've ever attended. We were honored to be a part of the big day for two very special Brides. Congratulations Buck and Steph!

Things did not start well....

...but a gift from the Bride did the trick.

Stephanie and Matthew - what a pretty Bride!

Destined to be a favorite mommy memory...At the reception, Matthew asked:
"Momma, will you spin with me?"
It was a really great day.

Friday Nights

Friday nights at our house mean a movie (Matthew gets to choose) and pizza! Last friday, Matthew asked to set up his tent in the living room. So we did - complete with popcorn and sodas for the show.

What a fun week....

Trinity, Ryan and Matthew at Kid's Station. After indoor slides, tons
of games and choosing prizes, this was the best picture we could get!

Our sweet neighbors spoil us! This Memorial Day,
Mrs. Boyd brought over cupcakes - yummy!

As soon as we hit the backyard, Matthew says:
"Momma, we should get a popsicle and cool off."
Wonder where he's heard that?...
First trip down the Slip & Slide. He wouldn't go
unless Dad ran down beside him - what a great daddy!

I LOVE this picture! Matthew reached out to touch
a butterfly in our backyard garden.

First tomato of the season! Matthew loves cherry
tomatoes - so far he's eaten every one that's ready.

A day with my good friend, Renee, and her babies. The boys are hers
(plus one more not in this picture) and the little girl is another friend.
Renee has been a friend a long time and I love having our kids
grow up together.

Gram and Gramps!

Gram and Gramps came up for a visit. We love it - tons of love for Matthew and a date night for us! Thank goodness for grandparents.
