Texas Day at School

Every year, the schools celebrate their state with a "Texas Day". The kids come to school complete with hats and boots - adorable. We play games like "toss the boot" and "wild horse lasso" (yes, I'm serious). While I'm not a native Texan, and still tend to make fun of the whole thing, I have to admit it's a lot of fun. Matthew especially loved the train ride and the boot toss (what other time do you get to throw your shoes?).

Ready for a train ride.

(Don't laugh, you'll wish you could move like that at 75!!)
